The Swedish born phenom took the world by storm in the early 80’s with his band Rising Force, then with Alcatrazz, and then as solo artist and hasn’t slowed down since. His classically trained musical background and affinity towards Paganini violin riffs played on guitar make him a very interesting and talented guitarist. He is very visual onstage and will make his guitar sing, cry, wail, and rock at the speed of sound. Very fast riffing on a scalloped guitar neck. I enjoyed listening and photographing Yngwie any chance I had.
