Uli Jon Roth – Cabaret Metro – 1985 – Chicago, IL.
Most guitarists know Uli Jon Roth’s work. He was in the Scorpions in the 70’s and then went solo in the 80’s with Electric Sun. It was an amazing show at the intimate Metro venue. It took him 21 years to get back to Chicago playing the House of Blues in 2006. Uli’s solo works at the time of the Metro show was from his albums Electric Sun, Fire Wind, and Beyond the Astral Skies which are all highly recommended listening. Definitely check him out when he tours through your area.
