Lita Ford – Cabaret Metro – Chicago, IL. Aug. 30, 1984
Lita is such an attractive and talented hard-edged rocker who started playing music at a very young age while a member of the LA based Runaways with fellow singer/guitarist Joan Jett. She was scheduled for a photo shoot before the show with local Chicago music photographer Paul Natkin and they booked an old Chevy Corvette as part of their shoot. I happened to be at the right place at the right time as the car came to pick her up at the venue. I clicked off a couple shots just before they sped off to a gas station several blocks away for a more private shoot. Later , she and her band took the stage of the intimate Metro and they rocked the house. I had such a great time hearing her music and getting the pictures since she is very photogenic as you can see. I had met her a few times and she was as nice to chat with as well. I heard she is planning a tour soon..I look forward to catching her 2009 tour.
