Alice Cooper Band – UIC Pavilion – March 23, 1990 - Chicago, IL.
Alice is one of the most original rockers ever to step on stage. He has influenced many musicians over the years and continues to be a class act on and off the stage. I have seen Alice every chance I get. This night was a great photographic night for me, since Alice is extremely photogenic with his characters and stage theatrics. I remember meeting him after this show in 1990 at a meet/greet and while everyone was telling him the usual praises on a great show and a great album, I decided to ask him about golf. I knew it was a passion of his and I was planning a golf trip to Arizona a month later. So I asked him about some of his favorite golf courses in AZ and he seemed really excited to talk about something other than music. Years later I moved to Arizona and have seen Alice several times, whether it is at his rockin restaurant Alice Cooperstown or at his local Annual Christmas Pudding Charity variety show. I haven’t met up with him on a golf course yet maybe someday?
